An Evening at the Park

After a very nice storm rolled through and knocked power out to most of the city, we were given an almost eerie yellowish haze in the sky. Couple that with the storm passing and we saw a very large rainbow, but there was actually two rainbows.. yes a double.
Here are some shots from the double rainbows and the sunset that we were able to enjoy too!

Shot through Lorain's historical rose garden
Thanks for looking!

Preserve

Here at D C Ketcham photography we believe that there is more to a picture than just a thousand words... there is emotion, there is individuality and preservation. What I try to do is more than just stand there and say "cheese," because, well that is just cheesy!
Do you want to look back on your photos in a few years, in 10 years, or at a graduation party to remember that cute little boy, or do you want to remember your precious little baby girl after you walk her down her aisle and give her away and say... I'm happy with these.....Not really, you really want to remember everything about that moment in time... the memory and the emotion.
Let's together take a moment and perserve the innocence of childhood.

Motorcycle Time

Spent some time yesterday afternoon out shooting some motorcycles.
A 1500 Goldwing and a 1500 Valkryie.

Used a few settings and came up with some decent shots.

Check back later for some other updates and more pics!

Welcome

Welcome to D C Ketcham Photography blog.
This is the beginning of the blog where I will share previews, posts and pictures of my photographic work.

D C Ketcham photography is photography that has inspirations that come from the heart. My photojournalist approach shares the true emotions and feelings that are captured with the click of a shutter. I want to work with you and share my passion for photography and capture the real you and not just some cookie cutter picture... but a photograph that you would be proud to hang on your wall or to share in this digital world we live in.

Thank you for taking the time and stopping by.... I hope to hear from you again and to schedule an appointment. Please feel free to contact me at dcketchamphotography@yahoo.com or stop by our facebook page.
