Maternity Photography

Maternity Photography is one of my main specialities. Its actually partially where I started and where I continue to grow .. ha .. grow.. maternity.. get it?  (yeah, i am that funny ) 

As with many of my maternity sessions, they are supposed to be more relaxed.. more special and usually a little more artistic. Above is one of my favorite photos, as it was a struggle to do as a photographer but, that shouldnt matter.. It to me, is a great photo as it does show the true beauty of a mother to be. 

I have been asked to recreate this photo in another maternity session. Its something special to hear people say they want one of my photos as their own.

Facebook Killed the Post

I had to post today about my rant about Facebook.... DcKetcham Photography took a while to build up a following on FB and .. in the past month or so .. little longer.. they only are sharing my posts with maybe 100 to up to 200 of those likes...

THere are some viral feeds going from there, but turning those into new likes hasnt been happening.. but... still...

Sexy Bedoroom Intimate Photos

There are two main styles of photographing women... one being more of a Glamour style... which is usally backgrounds.. maybe props .. etc... then there is boudoir.

A boudoir (French: [bu.dwaʁ], English: /ˈbuːd.wɑːr/) is a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning "to be sulky" or boudeur, meaning "sulky"

 So... true boudoir ... is shot in the comfort of one's home... or a studio setting to resemble a bedroom. It may also be a room to an upscale hotel. No not some cheap motel or anything.. this is an investment and the better the location, the better the pics will help in turning out.

Sexy Christmas Gift Boudoir Photos Lorain County

I have about half of my boudoir clients that are giving their photos as gifts... some are a mixed gift so they dont count.. as From the other half or so, its the fact of... we are not getting any younger... we are all beautiful and its time to shine.. and .. for some.. its a break from being a mother.. a wife.. worker.. its about being you.. Sexy.. Confident... Classy. As always, my photography is intimate and there is a certain period in every session where everything is just working out properly.. and the results are fantastic.

Christmas and the Holiday season are up on us all, and there are still a few dates available for that sexy Christmas gift this year. Give him or her something to really unwrap

When I started this photography blog, it was more about getting more exposure.. and it seems then facebook took over, but the way facebook has made things... I am back to this.. but I love this photography blog and plan to use it more... especially when it comes to my boudoir photography.

Boudoir Sexy Classy Intimate

Even though I have already posted about Boudoir and what it is  (click here to see that post) I am taking a quick moment to post about boudoir again.
For me.. many images, are sexy.. black and white.. intimate.. but never trashy or showing too much. in fact, usually not showing much at all.. its leaving it all up to the eye and to wonder.
