I worked along with the owner to make this happen and no children were present .. 

Model Photography for me is a way to push myself... try new things.. and keep moving forward.

Maternity Photography Lorain Amherst Avon Blog

I have gotten a few requests for maternity... and maternity has been one of the shoots that I have always done and hopefully will continue to do.

I was lucky enough to photograph Nicole here for her maternity and then to also photograph her newborn.

Here are a few shots. Maternity is normally done around the 7.5 to 8 months marks.. right before.. and I always try to include everything the mother to be will want... but then also to give my own flair.

I have so many new ideas and so many things that I want to try even with maternity... but... always needing a beautiful model to do it. I always take pride in making sure that the mother to be is happy though.. and as you can see... shes happy!

The last two posts have been about a boudoir model marathon this past february... With my recent posts on modeling, there is also the mixture of modeling and boudoir. As most of these women I shoot are interested in lingerie.

Last February I was lucky enough to work with a team of hair stylist and a MakeUp artist to pull of my first Boudoir Marathon Session. Running for about 7 hours.. shooting a few different women... all within the guidelines of glamour and boudoir.

Maternity Photography

Maternity Photography is one of my main specialities. Its actually partially where I started and where I continue to grow .. ha .. grow.. maternity.. get it?  (yeah, i am that funny ) 

As with many of my maternity sessions, they are supposed to be more relaxed.. more special and usually a little more artistic. Above is one of my favorite photos, as it was a struggle to do as a photographer but, that shouldnt matter.. It to me, is a great photo as it does show the true beauty of a mother to be. 

I have been asked to recreate this photo in another maternity session. Its something special to hear people say they want one of my photos as their own.

When I started this photography blog, it was more about getting more exposure.. and it seems then facebook took over, but the way facebook has made things... I am back to this.. but I love this photography blog and plan to use it more... especially when it comes to my boudoir photography.

Showing some skin, or being covered up.. its all in the mix.. One of the main staples of a boudoir session is the men's shirt. Here are a few more examples of Boudoir by DcKetcham Photography especially using their man's shirt... and a showing their love...
