Family Photographer Vermilion, Berlin Heights & Amherst Ohio

Being invited into someone's home... capturing them ... the real people that they are .. thats what I love to do. As a portrait photographer when I get invited out to a home .. or residence .. it makes the experience even better for all. Then to be out in the country in the fall in Berlin Heights right outside of Vermilion, OH ... the colors ... but.. the family is what its all about.
I titled the portrait session that I was asked to do for Lana as Country Love...  as .. they love country .. and it was beautiful out.

 Yes, Thats me... and my family... and this is this year's family photo... as we have grown all each year and try to do something new and different each year. Normally, I work hard to get the camera settings right and use a trigger.. lately my sister has helped to be there.. but she is just pushing a button maybe.

Family photography is something that is needed and wanted by many. Years go by so fast and you have to document your growth.

Photography is an investment.. and even I have to invest... its not like we just showed up and Bam.. the pic was done.. oh no.. not even for my own family.

High School Senior Portraits Lorain County Blog

Continuing on more into my Seniors.. I chose Ambassadors for my branding of DcKetchamPhotography Seniors. But ... I also work with many other High School Seniors... and even if they are last minute.  Kristen was one of those last minutes... as she was 2 weeks from graduation .. We met in Oberlin for her shoot.. and had a blast!

 High School Senior portraits in Lorain are really your choice.
Its funny and I will touch on this again, but ... most parents choose where they went when they were in school.. heck some Seniors are picking their friends for their pics... but no matter what... The High School Seniors, and Juniors have their choice of where they want to go. No school makes you get the Senior Portraits from the "house" photographer.

Take a few minutes... Listen to your son or daughter for what they want in their senior photos.. and you will be surprised.

High School Senior Portrait Photography Lorain

And now I want to introduce you to Erika, Class of 2013 from Firelands High School.  
For her session, we wanted to show her life... from her dog... to her love of her dad's truck... she's a guitar player, but very important to her .. is her life with Horses. She has attended the Quarter Horse Congress many times and is a winner.

I am more than just a guy with a camera... I take my time to find out what the students want.. what the parents want... and find that happy medium to where everyone is happy!


Getting students their own Senior Portraits are really what has to be done... Sure anyone can grab a camera and snap a few pics, but you are getting more than that.... You are getting a full Senior Portrait Experience, as well as a trained eye... professional prints... and so much more.

Newborn Portrait Photography

Sometimes I feel that its amazing that I get a chance to work some people... and when it comes to newborn portrait photography, I absolutely love it!   From the smells.. to they way they look...to the love from their parents.. its amazing..

Here are a few portraits from a family who I have been luckily enough to drive over an hour each time to photograph their newborn sons. These parents "hired" me long before their first son was born, who is featured below, and luckily enough for me, the moment they found out they had their second on their way... I was hired once again.

I've grown personally in my photography and I have also grown photographically, but no matter what.. I find that part and those photos that are wanted from the people.. but then take to the next level and make something spectacular.

Newborn Portrait photography in Stow, Ohio is featured here. Think about it... photos are more than the paper that they are printed on... its an investment in your future.. an investment in your family.

The Love that is shared when a newborn comes into the world is great and I am honored to be a part of newborn photography for many parents.
