Family Photographer Vermilion, Berlin Heights & Amherst Ohio

Being invited into someone's home... capturing them ... the real people that they are .. thats what I love to do. As a portrait photographer when I get invited out to a home .. or residence .. it makes the experience even better for all. Then to be out in the country in the fall in Berlin Heights right outside of Vermilion, OH ... the colors ... but.. the family is what its all about.
I titled the portrait session that I was asked to do for Lana as Country Love...  as .. they love country .. and it was beautiful out.

and I'll admit this wasnt one of my poses that I normally do, but wow.. Lana had the idea and I love it now. You can tell he loves his momma and she is a great mom to him!     Can't you just feel the love in this pic?

Phew.. its been a while since I've been on here, but really need to make this happen again! If you haven't been watching over at http://www.facebook.com/DcKetchamPhotography for all of my updates you are really missing out!

So, whats all that for and how is this... well.. let's just let these images speak for itself and my work

A few months ago I met Amber at a pinup contest that I co-sponsored.  She was a doll then and I knew that we had to work together. Meanwhile, I met Chuck, the owner of this Studebaker and my mind started to race. 

The image above is about a half hour into the photoshoot and Amber was loose up as this was her first photoshoot. 

Shooting with my Nikon D7000 I was able to do these shots all with natural light which was a great help. I had my OCF with me but never used it. 

 DcKetcham Photography is in the Lorain, OH area and I specialize in Model Photography as well as glamour and boudoir.

Normally I photograph families, children and high school seniors... but one thing I love about model photography is the freedom to push a little more into the craft and expressions.  For the above shots I had to direct Amber (remember this was her first shoot) and she did absolutely amazing.
These are just a few shots from her first shoot with me as we are already discussing our next shoot; so stay tuned for more of this redhead blue eyed beauty.

High School Senior Portraits Lorain

I have been recently working very hard on trying to break more into High Schools to be featured as a High School Senior Portrait Photographer in Lorain, Lorain County, and all of the schools within. So.. this year I started a High School Senior Ambassador Program. As well, I started my own Facebook page designed just for High School Seniors, a branch out from the DcKetcham Photography page, that has been doing so well. DcKetcham Photography Seniors page on Facebook is up and running... but... also

This past spring, I worked on my Ambassador Program and here are the Ambassadors for DcKetcham Photography Seniors.

 One of my first Ambassadors that I chose was Kati. From Lorain High School she is the Class of 2013. We went with a few different settings throughout her Senior Portrait Experience.

Family Portraits Father & Son Portraits North Ridgeville, OH

There is a special bond between a man and his son ... from the moment that you first meet your newest addition, to helping to celebrate their first birthday you grow to love them more and more each day.
Sometimes men have a tough time portraying their emotions.. and especially to another man (or boy) but, for most fathers, and especially this great family, you can see the love and share the love.
People ask about my "posing" ... but, I dont call this posing.. I gave the father a general direction for the portrait, but we let life happen... and in that moment, the "inbetween" shots... this photo to right happened... its the moments like these that truly make my job wonderful.... to see this.. to share the love and to capture the moment.

Unfortunatley soon, his little man will be too big to sit in his lap... will be too big to get lovin from daddy, but... now, at this age its perfect.
